JUST ANNOUNCED:
Delegate Keith E. Haynes Annual Job Fair and Expungement Workshop
I recognize that one of the biggest challenges in District 44A is the lack of JOBS. Our unemployment rate is more than twice that of the citywide average when it comes to people of all ages securing decent good paying jobs. Many of the barriers associated with qualifying for a job are the criminal records that so many people have for even minor offenses and non-violent offenses. That's why I believe in a wrap around approach to re-enfranchising our residents in District 44A.
Bringing Resources to People and Bringing the People to the Resources is key in working to make a difference in our District. The location for the event was selected because this is the area where the need is the greatest.
Every effort helps and I am pleased to state that at my last Annual Jobs and Expungement Fair close to 60 people left with either a Job or a solid appointment for a second interview and over 100 individuals started the criminal record expungement process and a record number of people registered to vote!
On Saturday, October 5, 2019 I will host the Annual Delegate Keith E. Haynes Job Fair/Record Expungement Informational/and Voter Registration Drive at The Shake 'N Bake Family Fun Center located at 1500 Pennsylvania Avenue. The event will be held from 10am to 2pm with several employers onsite ready to offer jobs to District 44A residents. A big "Shout Out" goes to Shake N Bake Familty Fun Center for opening their doors for the continued use of their facility.
Although the event begins at 10 a.m., COME EARLY because at my our previous event the line began forming at 8:30 a.m. around the building with people prepared to find work, register to vote and get their records expunged!

Delegate Keith E. Haynes, Esq. to Sponsor Annual Senior Health and Law Day
On November 16, 2019 I will sponsor my Annual Senior Law and Health Day! The program is a one hour event which partners with local healthcare providers and members from the legal community to bring resources and vital information to help our senior address issues which are important to them. This year Bon Secours Health Systems will provide health screenings which includes high blood pressure and blood glucose levels and provide other vital resources for our Seniors. As a practicing trial attorney, I know the importance of making sure that our Seniors are equipted with the best information to address the issues that affect them.
This year's Legal Focus is on Identity Theft. I have partnered with The Attorney General's Office to provide critical information on the Steps Seniors can take to Prevent Identity Theft and the actions Seniors Should take if a senior citizen suspects that they are the Victim of Identity Theft. I have partnered with the The Attorney General's Office to provide this critical information. The location and times are as follows throughout District 44A:
12:00 - 01:00 Smallwood Summit Senior Apartments
